About the Project
Duqm Refinery is, in the words of OQ8 (JV owner of DR), a “grass roots refinery which aims to produce light/middle distillates at a high efficiency rate. It focuses on naphtha, jet fuel, diesel, and LPG as its primary products. The refinery comprises hydrocracking, hydro-treating and delayed coking units, along with sulphur recovery, hydrogen generation and merox treating units”
Our End Client Petrofac’s scope on the project was the utilities and offsites package (EPC 2), a joint venture with Samsung Engineering.
Execution
Axis Engineering Solutions LLC undertook a major, multi-year package from our Client, Gulf Petrochemical Services & Trading LLC (GPS) to carry out Installation, Testing & Pre-Commissioning of Instrumentation System of Duqm Refinery Project EPC-2 (Pkg 5). This multi-year job was executed with Axis Engineering Solutions LLC’s full in-house team of skilled manpower, supervisory staff, and equipment.
